Eleni Kyriacou presented her debut collection Women as Treasure for spring/summer 2012 at the Cyprus High Commission in London. The event was organized by the Cultural Counsellor for the Cyprus High Commission, Mr Kypros Charalambous, and was under the auspices of the High Commissioner, Mr Alexandros N. Zenon.  It was held in support of the Alkionides Charity UK. The charity raised over £1,000 through the sales of limited edition shawls designed and donated by Eleni Kyriacou from the Women as Treasure collection.  

 

The presentation was attended by members of the diplomatic community, press and VIPs from the London Greek Community. Amongst them were The High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Alexandros Zenon, the Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Lisa Rutter, HRH Crown Prince Shwebomin of Burma and the Director of the Hellenic Centre, Mrs Agathi Kalispera. The event was televised by the Greek and Cypriot television stations RIK channel and Hellenic TV.
