ROSENBORG CASTLE | ORDERLY COMPOSITIONS, COPENHAGEN

I adored Christian IV's Winter Room at Rosenborg Castle. The room is made up of panels that have paintings inset and some of the panelled walls are moveable (doors). I found this design orderly and contenting. This room seemed to summarise what feels for me to be at the core of design in Copenhagen everywhere I went: a sense of order and discipline, in a way that is spirited and pretty.
