I very much enjoyed visiting this stunning Gehry in New York. I found the building far more exciting close up than from afar as the rippled distortions became more apparent, and this was the most exciting aspect of the building for me. From afar some fine shadowy, wavy lines can be seen running down the skyscraper, but from close up the building becomes far more sculptural, shifting and changing every single step you take walking around it. The distortions are rhythmic and seem to emerge, recede and move all over the building surface.
